Semantic & Relational modes

By default, EBX5 runs in semantic mode, providing rich data modeling capabilities as well as advanced life cycle management. For managing high volumes of master data, EBX5 offers the relational mode, allowing a direct projection of master data in the underlining relational database management system. Both semantic and relational modes can be mixed in a repository.

D3: Distributed Data Delivery

Master Data Management initiatives often start small with a single domain but may then be deployed across the entire enterprise. EBX5 provides advanced scalability with its Distributed Data Delivery (D3) - a feature that lets users deploy MDM in a distributed architecture. The unique transactional synchronization capabilities of D3 give you the ability to scale MDM for real-time data access in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or worldwide geographical federation, without the risk of relying on one single hub.
